Bare pool lounge at The Mirage, The Light Group’s exclusive adult alternative to the typical Las Vegas pool experience, opens for the season Thursday, March 13.
The ultimate in poolside pampering, Bare is defined by its two luxury dipping pools, distinctive contemporary ambiance and ultra VIP service for which The Light Group is renowned. The DJ-spun music mix sets the party mood as guests enjoy European-style sun bathing secluded by towering palms.
Private Daybeds and Cabanas on the main level ensure a luxurious stay while poolside chaise lounges put guests in the middle of all the action. A raised VIP section, overlooking the entire experience, is lined with umbrella-covered daybeds and features a glass infinity-edged pool. European-style bottle service and exclusive pitcher service is offered with made-to-order cocktails such as Mojitos, Bloody Marys and Sangria. Classic and specialty frozen drinks offer a cool respite from the warm desert day. A menu of sumptuous specialty food items and cocktail service is available throughout the pool area.
VIP service is the standard at Bare. The attentive and attractive staff mix with the clientele, and Daybed and Cabana guests are indulged with complimentary services including: chilled cucumbers to soothe the eyes; iced towels, rolled and chilled in lemon flavored water; and Evian misting bottles, super-chilled and ready to spritz. A massage therapist also is on location offering poolside massages upon request (fee).
Bare is available for private events seven nights a week for groups up to 550 people. A newly installed glass pool cover instantly transforms Bare’s pool into a remarkable see-through dance floor.
Beginning March 13, Bare will be open Thursdays through Mondays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. As of May 1, it will be open 7 days a week. Admission charge Thursday and Monday: $10 for women, $30 for men. Friday, Saturday and Sunday: $20 for women and $40 for men. Local ladies are always complimentary with valid ID. Guests must be 21 years of age.
The latest luxury high rise to hit the Las Vegas strip is The Palazzo, an all-suite resort, is slated to host a grand opening weekend January 17-19, 2008.
With 50 stories, each suite is equipped with sunken living rooms, touch control roman shades, marble baths, several flat screens. The restaurant scene includes CarneVino by Mario Batali, Cut by Wolfgang Puck, Table 10 by Emeril Lagasse and Restaurant Charlie by Charlie Trotter. The 105,000 square foot casino is catered to the high rollers. If you are not into gambling, Barney’s of New York offers an 85,000 square foot “shopping paradise” at the base of the building. To top it off, the Award winning musical “Jersey Boys” will open in an 1800-seat theater and Jay-Z is opening the 40/40 Club, an all-american sports bar and lounge.
